Profile

Obtaining PhD in IT (Information Systems), I am an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Addis Ababa University with more than 18 years of teaching experience at higher institutions. Currently I am  serving as Head of the School of Information Sciences and Secretary of the EthAIS (Ethiopian Chapter of Association of Information Systems). I have authored and co-authored more than 30 publications (Book chapters, journal and conference papers). My research interest includes application of Information Systems/IT in organizations, Data and web mining, Information and data architecture. In addition to my regular task at the academic unit, AAU, I am also serving as a reviewer and program committee member of various local and international conferences. My research project experiences both as a principal investigator and member of various research and consultancy tasks is also worth mentioning
